Ricardo Thomas Sr.
was born July 13, 1952 to the Late Bishop Morris Thomas Sr. and
Pastor Betty L. Thomas in Detroit, Michigan. He has two brothers
and one sister; Morris Thomas Jr., Anthony P. Thomas Sr. and Lisa
M. Haithcock (Dr. Robyn).
"Pastor Rick" is married to Elder Cynthia Thomas, who
is a dynamic teacher and woman of God. She serves as the Chairperson
of the Women's Ministry at Faith Tabernacle Church, where she
works by his side as he continues to fulfill the call that the
Lord has placed upon his life. READ

Uptown Bookstore has become a positive staple of our community,
a place where members can come and receive their daily dose of
literary nourishment, love and encouragement. Sister's Uptown
is a community resource for the exchange of information and ideas.
We have established book clubs for adults and children of all
ages, a weekly meditation series and on-going storytelling programs.
In addition, we host the P.R.E.P. Program (Promoting Responsible
Enthusiastic Pupils) weekly to provide our youth with essential
skills to excel at the three Rs and propel themselves toward a
higher education. |
